Naomi Chan is a Private Piano, Theory, and History instructor based in Edmonton. A Registered Music Teacher (ARMTA) and RCM Certified Teacher, she holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Alberta and has been playing piano since early childhood. Driven by a passion for helping students create and enjoy music, Naomi inspires and equips learners to reach their full artistic potential.

She creates a safe learning environment by prioritizing intentionality and flexibility in her interactions with students. Naomi strives to help each of her students become musically independent by adjusting the curriculum and piano method approaches to each of her students’ needs.

By tailoring her curriculum and teaching methods to individual student needs and interests, Naomi guides each student toward authentic musical independence. Curriculum resources used include the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), Faber’s Piano Adventures, the Suzuki Piano Method, and the Bastien Piano Method.
